The Manufacturing Company that I worked at for 16 years and helped them build from 30 to over a couple hundred employees around the world and #1 in the industry, sent the manufacturing to Taiwan. From the polluted drywall, to Black and Decker coffee maker, to most if not all the components in the computer I am typing on. There is almost nothing that is not made in China. I do not see anything wrong with expressing your opinion with your wallet. To me the Chinese Epiphones are well made now, not so much in the beginning but the materials do seem to be lower quality than the Korean made Epis used to be. You can buy a used Epiphone too, mine is a 2006 Casino 'Custom Shop' with a bigsby made in Korea. Is the Epiphone Casino Elitist made in China? I thought they were made in Japan.
